  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.

3. Add the chopped onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

4. Add the frozen peas and carrots, beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, rosemary, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer. Let cook for 5-10 minutes, until the mixture has thickened slightly.

5. While the filling is cooking, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the chopped cauliflower and potatoes to the pot and cook until tender, about 10-15 minutes.

6. Drain the cauliflower and potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the butter, milk, salt, and black pepper to the pot and mash everything together until smooth.

7. Transfer the beef mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish. Spoon the cauliflower and potato mixture over the top of the beef, spreading it out evenly.

8. Bake the Shepherd's Pie for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
